Also known as "The Race to the Clouds," The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, brought to you by Gran Turismo, is America's second-oldest motorsport event.

The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), brought to you by Gran Turismo, also known as The Race to the Clouds, is an invitational automobile hill climb to the summit of Pikes Peak – America's Mountain in Colorado, USA.

The greatest challenge in motorsports for both man and machine, founded in 1916 by entrepreneur and philanthropist Spencer Penrose, has grown into an international event attracting the best drivers and riders from around the world.



The PPIHC's divisions feature a wide variety of vehicles representing multiple forms of motorsport; everything from production-based Time Attack challengers to purpose-built Open Wheel racers and state-of-the-art Unlimited vehicles all challenging the 12.42-mile, 156 turn course on America's Mountain in pursuit of victory.

One day. One run to the summit of Pikes Peak – America's Mountain. From multi-million dollar racing prototypes to hometown garage-built beasts, the intent of our rules is broad enough to include six divisions – something for almost everyone. Competitors apply for the coveted invitation-only event and must document their car's ability to complete and demonstrate a proven history of driver skill.

Fan Fest, presented by Toyo Tires, is one of Colorado Springs' largest and most popular street festivals.



Held on the Friday evening before Race Day, more than 35,000 people gather in the heart of Downtown Colorado Springs to experience this 10-block street party.

Come out and meet the drivers, visit with top sponsors, and witness high flying stunts during the FMX Show!

Fan Fest will take place rain or shine, there are no alternate event dates due to inclement weather.
